ANITRA HAMILTON

Anitra Hamilton is a Toronto based artist. Her work has been shown in Canada, the U.S. and abroad. Her project Platform was presented at the Zendai MOMA in Shanghai for one year in 2008. Her work appears in the permanent collections of the Albright-Knox Gallery and the Art Gallery of Ontario. The Art Gallery of York Univerisity, Toronto, presented Retrospective on Parade in 2007. She is the recipient of numerous awards including the Toronto Friends of the Visual Arts award (2006) and a Chalmers Fellowship (2003). She is represented by Georgia Scherman Projects in Toronto.
